Vizsla Dogs Will Captivate You

Vizsla dogs will captivate you. Just ask Rita Prindle of Wellington. She got her foster Vizsla dog from the Colorado/Wyoming Vizsla Rescue group. She admits he was gawky, awkward dog at first but she fell in love, brought him home and named him Jack.

"Just look in his eyes," Rita says, "They captivate you."

All the way back to 1989 Rita Prindle has taken in and rescued these lovable Vizsla dogs, which has kept them safe of shelters where the chance for abuse is high. Unfortunately she cannot rescue every single dog as some have been too badly abused and beaten to ever acclimate to a family again.

It is the love of the breed and animals in general that has kept her at it, and the fact that she keeps them safe from the animal shelters, but she admits she does not believe in taking them all.

"It is a really sad thing when you see people who are really hoarders. They'll just take in everything," Prindle says.
