No Vitamin C For Vizsla Breeds
Each breed of dog is different in what their nutritional and supplemental needs are. The Vizsla breeds are no different in that regards. Vizsla dogs have their own set of requirements and standards to follow.Recommended for Vizsla breeds is to feed them nutrient sources that are similar to their native land, Hungary. This will give them the proper balance of nutrients, vitamins, protein, carbohydrates, fatty acids and minerals. Some suggest a mix of poultry, wheat, barley and rye combined with pork, beef and oats. You can find recipes on the Web.
While some vitamins are recommended for Vizsla dogs it really depends on their age, sex, weight and level of activity. No vitamin C is advised for Vizsla's since it can do kidney and liver damage.

Never heard of the breed having any particular problem metabolizing vitamin C. I googled it though, and found one person selling personalized breed specific recipes for your dog for $100. This person advised against vitamin C, but I could not find information on this person's credentials, only information on how to hand over my $100.
