Sad Story in Idaho: Yellow Vizsla Believed To Be Stolen!

I saw this article on the kdik.com website, a CBS affiliate in Idaho Falls. The Hebdon family lost their beautiful 5-month old yellow vizsla, Annie on June 20 and the family believes poor Annie was robbed for money. It's a really sad story and I hope Annie is back with her family. Here's an excerpt from the article.

"Annie had been in the back yard with the Hebdon's other two dogs, and there are no signs she dug her way out. The only thing out of the ordinary was the gate." Hebdon said, "Our gate wasn't latched all the way. It's usually locked pretty securely, we make sure of that."

As the hebdon's handed out fliers to their neighbors some mentioned they were missing their dogs too. And since a Vizsla can cost one or two thousand dollars, the Hebdon's believe someone is stealing dogs to make a few bucks. "I'm sure somebody took her for money and they're not going to get a lot out of her being we have the papers. But I'll give them more than they're going to get out of her. I don't care what they want," said Hebdon.

As for the two remaining dogs, the Hebdon's are going to keep an extra close eye on them. Hebdon added, "If you have dogs lock them up."

The Hebdon's didn't want to specify the amount of the reward they are offering for the safe return of Annie, but they do say it is significant. If you have any information about the missing dog you can contact Ashley Hebdon at 604-3446, or Gordon Hebdon at 604-0720."
